How do I get released early from Probation Before Judgement in Maryland?
I walked in on my wife (now ex) and this is what I received for beating up the guy that was in bed with her. I have paid all fines, good standing probation history and have no priors. My probation officer has sent a request to the judge for an early release. We are yet to hear anything. I have 18 months from 1-27-09 to 7-27-10. Any advice while we wait with be greatly appreciated.
You're fine now. You did the right thing by beating the guy up. I would have taken a lit cigarette and burned it right on his forehead in between his eyes so he'd look like an idiot for the rest of his life. The charge would probably have been worse, but you still only would have had probation....but it all still would have been time and money well spent.
