Buy a hackbar, it's a type of automatic hacksaw, most are electric. you set the metal into a guide and the saw cuts away itself, water running onto the cut to keep it cool and wash away the filings. Whichever type you go for, jigsaw, grinder etc. remember that all metal cutting blades or discs are supposed to be colour coded blue, to make them easily recognisable.
